Full-time in Benton, KY. $12 to $18 per hour, based on experience.
Stinson Plumbing is hiring a full-time assistant to work alongside our licensed plumbers on residential and commercial jobs. You get hands-on training toward Kentucky Journeyman licensure, and qualifying hours count toward state apprenticeship requirements.
What you will do
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls and installations
- Prepare materials, tools and job sites
- Support repairs, piping installs and fixture replacements
- Learn diagnostic techniques and plumbing fundamentals
- Keep job sites clean and load or unload equipment
- Follow safety procedures and Kentucky plumbing codes
What we are looking for
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Genuine interest in a plumbing career
- Ability to follow direction and work on a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver license
- No prior experience required, though experience is a plus
Physical requirements
- Lift 50 pounds or more
- Work in crawl spaces and tight areas
- Work in varying weather conditions
