Position Overview
Stinson Plumbing is hiring a full-time Plumbing Assistant to work directly alongside a Licensed Kentucky Plumber on residential and commercial jobs.
This position is ideal for someone serious about building a career in the plumbing trade. All qualifying hours worked in this role count toward the apprenticeship hours required by the State of Kentucky for Journeyman licensing.
This is not a general labor position — it is a hands-on training role designed to develop future licensed plumbers.

What You’ll Be Doing
● Assisting the Licensed Plumber on service calls and installations
● Preparing materials, tools, and job sites
● Supporting plumbing repairs, piping installations, and fixture replacements
● Learning diagnostic techniques and plumbing system fundamentals
● Maintaining clean and organized job sites
● Loading and unloading materials and equipment
● Following safety procedures and Kentucky plumbing code standards
